Logistic Contractor AS acquires 266,000 sqm land near Gardermoen Airport north of Oslo
Logistic Contractor AS, which belongs to the Wästbygg Group, has signed an agreement to acquire approximately 266,000 sqm of land just north of Gardermoen Airport in Norway. There is a local development plan for the land and the seller has begun the preliminary ground preparations. The purchase price is approximately NOK 233 million (22,8 mln. Euro).
The acquisition will be carried out in three phases, where phase one of about 79,000 sqm will be paid for with a closing date no later than 1 June 2022. Payment for the following two phases of 83,000 and 71,000 sqm will take place on a closing date preliminarily set for one and three years respectively after the closing date for phase one. A 33,000 sqm section will be classified as green space and will not be built on. For Logistic Contractor, the acquisition is conditional upon the seller completing the preparatory work on the land to meet the requirements of the local development plan and this work must be properly documented; in addition, it must be possible for the required electricity supply to the site to be delivered within the agreed cost framework.
