Polish glass producer Press Glass will build a factory in Kaunas FEZ

The Polish glass processing company Press Glass is being established in Lithuania – it will start building a new factory in Kaunas Free Economic Zone (FEZ) this year.

According to Invest Lithuania, the foreign investment development agency, construction is planned to start in the second quarter of this year. “It is planned that the new plant will recycle glass for the construction industry and will be one of the most modern and automated plants of such kind in Europe,” announces BNS. The new company will serve customers in northern Poland, the Baltic countries and Scandinavia.

Invest Lithuania states that it does not yet have data on the planned investments of Press Glass and the number of new jobs. According to the portal vz.lt, the head of Press Glass Arkadyus Mush told the Polish media last year that the company was in the final stages of acquiring land plots in Lithuania and the United Kingdom (UK), and the construction of factories will start this year.

Press Glass announces that it has 14 factories in Poland, Croatia, the UK and the USA. Its revenue last year amounted to 283.5 million USD. According to the data of the Center of Registers, the company Press Glass have been established in Lithuania this month and its authorized capital is 100 thousand EUR. the CEO of the company is Tomasz John, Purchasing Director of Press Glass. The company is registered in Kaunas district, Biruliškių village – Kaunas FEZ address. The founding documents show that the sole shareholder of the company is Polish Press Glass.
