CHANGENOW 2021
AN IN-PERSON SUMMIT AT THE GRAND PALAIS ÉPHÉMÈRE, AN UNPRECEDENTED OFF-SITE PROGRAMMING, POSITIVE IMPACT PLAYERS WILL MEET ON MAY 27, 28 and 29 IN PARIS.
The fourth edition of ChangeNOW, which will be held on May 27, 28 and 29, 2021 primarily at the Grand Palais Éphémère, will amplify its impact beyond the walls of the Grand Palais, along an emblematic axis extending from the Eiffel Tower to the UNESCO headquarters. The Summit will also provide digital access to the event’s programming. The objective: bring all the actors of change together on a large-scale. The first speakers have been announced and the ticketing is now open. Solutions are invited to apply for the second round of applications to exhibit at the new Grand Palais Éphémère.
An « impact line » to amplify positive impact throughout Paris
The fourth edition of the summit will take place on multiple sites. With the Grand Palais Éphémère, the Eiffel Tower, and UNESCO headquarters on board, ChangeNOW will allow Paris to be at the center of positive impact.
Exhibitors, solutions, investors, major groups, governments, and institutional players as well as inspiring speakers will all gather at ChangeNOW.
Among the first speakers announced are Alexandra Cousteau, co-founder of Ocean 2050; Dr. Carmen Hijosa, co-founder of Ananas Anam; Célia Blauel, Deputy Mayor of Paris in charge of Prospective Paris 2030, Resilience and the river Seine; Chad Frischmann, Vice President of Project Drawdown; Daniel Epstein, founder of Unreasonable; Abul Kalam Azad, Special Envoy of the Climate Vulnerable Forum Presidency and the V20 Group of Finance Ministers; and Camille Etienne, co-founder of Pensée Sauvage and spokesperson for On Est Prêt.
“These times remind us how vulnerable we are to growing environmental, climate, and social emergencies. All the while, innovators continue to develop the resilient models we need. Every year counts, and the ecosystem needs to come together to accelerate the transition! By joining us in other emblematic locations of Paris, we want to make ChangeNOW 2021 a rallying moment to put positive impact on the world stage.” underline ChangeNOW founders Santiago Lefebvre, Rose-May Lucotte, and Kevin Tayebaly.
Hybrid format and new themes
In 2021, the summit will integrate digital formats, offering online access and live TV. From the comfort of your own home anywhere in the world, you will be able to listen to inspirational speakers, attend conferences, and participate in participatory workshops.
Experiences will be at the heart of the 2021 edition, with immersive exhibitions and workshops such as La Galerie de l’Économie Circulaire, a dedicated pavilion with objects from the circular economy, or Sounds of Biodiversity, a sound experience promoting the protection of biodiversity.
The three previous editions of ChangeNOW have shown the importance of human contact & immersive experiences to make change concrete, to build relationships with a high added value, and to take concrete action. ChangeNOW will adapt the fourth edition of the summit to the new situation and will take place with the utmost respect for health measures and will enforce all the safety regulations necessary (masks, gel, social distancing, etc.). Digital alternatives will be put in place in case of restrictions on movement and gatherings.
