Companies that managed to be successful in 2020
The nominees for the annual competition “Successfully Working Company” were announced for the 21st time on 17 of December. Competition organized by the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists (LPK) this year has nine winners in three groups categorized by their size were announced successful companies.
LPK President Vidmantas Janulevičius is happy that the companies have been able to work profitably, overcome the global recession and successfully organize their activities. “This year is a year of great challenges for business. No matter the global pandemic, broken supply chains, Brexit and other difficulties, we can be inspired by many companies in Lithuania. They find ways to improve their products and services and increase their competitiveness even in such tense conditions as we have this year. Such companies act decisively, look for opportunities, try non-traditional methods, implement new technologies in their activities. I believe that they will continue to expand and surprise the Lithuanian and global markets in the long run,” says the President of LPK.

Elektrifikacijos paslaugos, K2 LT, Grinduva won the nomination “Successful company – 2020” in the group of small companies. In the group of medium-sized companies the award was won by August ir Ko, Pack Klaipėda. In the group of large companies the award was won by Milsa, Mantinga, LTG Cargo and SE Klaipėda State Seaport Authority.
“Successful companies” were evaluated according to the production or services volume, profit, investment in production and total export. The assessment also takes into account changes in the number of employees in the company and whether new jobs are created. The average monthly salary of employees and quality standards are considered as well as working conditions.
