Intel is expanding its research and development center in Gdańsk
Intel Poland received co-financing in the amount of PLN 57 174 091.90 under the “Intelligent Development Operational Program” program from the European Regional Development Fund. The total value of the project is PLN 326 574 857.22.
The implementation of the Project is aimed at developing the Research and Development activities of Intel Technology Poland in research areas related to the development of technologies increasing the efficiency of Data Center infrastructure and increasing the possibility of using Artificial Intelligence.
The subject of the Project includes the construction of a new facility providing appropriate working conditions for specialists and its full equipment with research IT infrastructure, which will enable the implementation of advanced works in the field of technical innovations of global importance and the highest global competitiveness.
At least 410 new research workers will be employed in the created R&D Center, who, together with the current part of the staff, will jointly implement innovative projects. As a result of the work carried out in the new R&D Center, breakthrough, prototype innovations of global importance will be developed, which will be implemented in solutions offered on the global market by entities from the Intel Group.
