In its first three years of operation, Pon.Bike expects to hire around 300 people, and this number could rise to 500 in the future. According to A. Klangauskas, the new factory, which will be modern and up-to-date, should become the calling card of the Kėdainiai free economic zone.
Experienced bicycle manufacturer said they opened a similar plant in Germany about a month ago, so they know how to make the project as successful as possible. According to the representatives of Pon.Bike, if there are no obstacles, the first works should start already in the middle of this summer. According to them, the plant should be built and equipped by the end of next year, and by the beginning of 2024, bicycles should already be assembled in it.
